Located off of fashionable Downer Avenue on Milwaukee's East Side, Lakeside OB/GYN provides the full spectrum of healthcare in obstetrics and gynecology for women in all stages of their lives.  While we focus on offering our clients the most current options, we remain open to non-traditional alternatives as well.  This type of flexibility allows us to best service the unique needs of our diverse patient population.

I love Dr. Trebian. She is personable, kind and patient, with a great sense of humor. Even my husband (who distrusts most doctors) thinks she is fantastic. On the rare occasion she doesn’t have an immediate answer, she will find it for me. Terri is a huge help in the office and very easy to talk with as well. Great team!

Gynecology

The annual well woman exam is an important time to discuss your contraceptive needs, planning  for pregnancy, sexual concerns, sexually transmitted infections, vaginal discharge or discomfort, menopausal symptoms, etc.  While current guidelines state pap smears are not needed every year, it is still important to have a breast and pelvic exam annually.

The relationship between you and your doctor is an important one.  To get the best care, be prepared for your health care visit, know your medical and surgical history, including an accurate medication list and communicate your concerns with your doctor.

Do not be afraid to ask questions or speak up if you are concerned about something.  We are here to listen to all of your concerns.

At Lakeside OB/GYN we provide a full range of gynecologic services, from annual check-ups to procedures performed in our office or surgeries in the hospital.  We evaluate and treat women with:  abnormal Pap smears, abnormal human papilloma virus (HPV) tests, sexually transmitted infections, pelvic pain, fibroids, painful periods, abnormal bleeding, menopause and aging issues.  We provide contraceptive counseling and family planning services including insertion of IUDs.

Obstetrics

Care can begin before pregnancy with a preconception counseling visit.  We encourage planning ahead for the healthiest and safest experience, but we also know that sometimes life surprises us!

Our practice is intimate and accessible with adequate time to discuss your concerns at each appointment.  We encourage you to ask questions and be involved in making choices for your birth experience.

We know that pregnancy and birth can be both amazing and scary at the same time.  At Lakeside OB/GYN we are here to care for you, educate you, and to help you achieve the safe and satisfying delivery that you desire.

Menopause

When you were in your teens or early 20s you visited an obstetrician/gynecologist for the first time.  Back then, your biggest concerns likely regarded your period and choice of birth control.

Now that you’re transitioning to menopause, your OB/GYN is an important partner in your care.  These days you’ve got a lot of new issues to discuss.  We offer services designed to meet the complex needs of women approaching or experiencing natural, surgical, or premature menopause.

Our Services

Our services include thorough consultations with a review of medical history and physical exams.  We provide management of menopause symptoms with hormone or non-hormonal treatment options.  Through our gynecologic care for menopausal women we can offer preventative health care, information and resources related to cardiovascular, breast, bone and urogenital health, as well as information for lifestyle choices, mental health, and sexuality issues.  We also offer assessment and treatment of sexual dysfunction issues.
